Item Description
Sharp, isolated, bi-colored mint-green and purple, fluorite octahedrons to 2.2 cm are strikingly scattered on the starkly contrasting quartz matrix on this dramatic LARGE CABINET specimen from China. These caused a huge stir when they came out a few years ago and are now scarce and highly desirable. The shear size of the plate and isolation of thie octos is supremely noteworthy. The octos have a muted, frosted luster caused by the HF acid used to dissolve away the encasing quartz. This impressive plate is in super shape. Ex Zukowski Collection.
