Item Description
Microcline specimens are EXTREMELY RARE from any of the 10 Utah localites MINDAT lists for the species. This amazingly sharp and scuptural large crystal is from Beaver County. The lustrous, flesh colored crystal has striking stepped-growth terminations, that march up to the twin peaks at the crest. The tiny smoky quartz crystals are nice accent. Complete all-around. The front and sides are pristine. The cleaved back is out-of-sight. Superlative and rare Utah microcline. A MUST for the Utah or species collector. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased in 1980.
