Item Description
A sharply terminated and sculptural large 360-degree microcline crystal from the pegmatites of the Raikot area of Gilgit-Baltistan. The impressive well-formed bone-white crystal has a very fine and unusual sharp termination and fine form all-around. Adding much character and contrast, one side of the porcelaneous lustre crystal hosts an aesthetic cluster of rosettes of lustrous bladed snow-white cleavelandites. The termination is perfect. Contacting lower on one side is out-of-sight in the primary display views. This outstanding large combination specimen is from the late Fall of 2005 find. Choice and uncommon microcline from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. This artistic piece has exceptional 360-degree visual appeal. Valued $1500-2000.
