Item Description
Impressive, beautifully sharply formed and rare large doubly terminated and twinned calcite from the late 2000s finds at this well-known skarn-type iron-copper deposit. The striking crystal, with two sharp twin planes, is a pretty light lavender. The very glassy and lustrous crystal is transparent to translucent and the striated complex faces really enhance the piece. Neon-orange fluorescence. The stunning display face is pristine and the contact on the back is out-of-sight. Twinned calcite of this size, quality, lavender color and style is RARE from here. Valued at $2500.
