Item Description

Shimmering satin lustre on the beautiful pastel-pink, densely intergrown, stepped-growth, modified manganon calcite scalenohedrons from old, early 1990s finds at the 2nd Sovetskii Mine at Dalnegorsk. The compound and isolated crystals are up to 6 cm long. This is an impressive, mounded and essentially pristine 360-degree specimen. A 2.5 cm cluster of coated chalcopyrite crystals with marcasite? on one edge is a fine accessory and contrast. These were only on the market for a short time in the early 1990s and quickly disappeared. Vivid neon-orange fluorescence! 4.2 or 1.9 kilos mass.
