Item Description

An exceptionally sharp, dramatic and pristine, Manebach-twinned orthoclase crystal from the Organ Mountains of New Mexico. This lustrous, flesh-colored crystal is complete all-around. The sides have very nifty, stepped growth and the two flutes at the top at striking. A most interesting United States orthoclase crystal from the Schlichter Collection. We have seen very few like it from here, in this size and quality. This is a MAJOR US feldspar specimen, and is one of the few from here which really holds its own as a display piece amongst fancier species.
