An impressive, large, sharp, tapered, two-sided, malachite pseudomorph after azurite specimen from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. The termination is very sharp and pristine. The chatoyancy of the multi-hued malachite and the bits of attached matrix are super accents. The frontal view is in very fine condition, while the slight edgewear and modest bruising on the back are extremely minimal detractions to this striking piece from the Willy Israel Collection. Acquired from Clive Queit in 1986. Valued at $950-1250. A classic and large Tsumeb pseudo. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
