RARE, rich and large malachite from OKLAHOMA! MINDAT lists numerous Oklahoma localities for the species, but only has three examples in the Photo Gallery. Dense clusters of rich emerald-green, gemmy and lustrous, nubby, botryoidal aggregates richly cover the large sculptural oxide-tinted laminated sandstone matrix plate. This is an exceptional, rich and rare large Oklahoma malachite from the Joe Lobell Collection of Oklahoma. Value of such a large rarity?? We have simply never seen these for sale. Joe is a well-known, retired dealer and field colletor of Oklahoma and Texas material!
