Item Description

A HUGE for the locale, old-time, sharp magnesite crystal from this famous locale. The textbook, very glassy and translucent rhomb is nicely accented by two smaller interpenetrating rhombs, one with just a bit of straw-yellow dolomite. Rare, very desirable large magnesite, that comes with an older faded Anton Berger label, prominent Austrian mineral dealers from the 1920s-1950s.
