Large leaf Silver (86 grams) - old classic!

Impressive, large, elongated leaf silver from this well-known Cobalt mine, that operated from 1904-1964. The nubby, hackly surface and patina add character to this sculptural two-sided specimen. Collected in 1950, the interesting note on the back of the label states the piece was assayed in the mine lab in 1971 as 92-93% silver, with copper and other metals. Leaf silver of this size and quality is RARE from the Kerr Mine. A remarkable Cobalt silver. 86 grams mass. valued $750-1000
