Large Kunzite w/ Cleavelandite (fluorescent)

A gorgeous, colorful, highly sculptural large kunzite from the Mawi pegmatite. The unusually fine and sharp gem chisel terminations of these dramatic parallel-growth blades are a beautiful vivid pink. A variable gemmy yellow-green zone follows above the translucent, colorless basal sections on these well-striated, glassy crytals with waxy luster. Clusters of pearlescent cleavelandite blades on one side really add pizzazz to this most imposing and outstanding large piece. This is a museum quality specimen. The frontal display face is pristine. Neon-orange fluorescence. 798 grams mass. Valued at $8000-9000.
