An otherworldly, surreal and RARE large old double pseudomorph from the well-known agate geode producing Rio Grande do Sul district. Kaolinite has replaced most of the striking two intergrown agate geodes with stunning, dense, sculptural banding. You can see the sparkly drusy quartz in the sculptural remnant open vugs only in the cores of the geodes, as a bonus! The Salto do Jacui area is well-known as a major source of agate in the form of geodes from Brazil (MINDAT). UNIQUE large old-time material from a limited mid-1960s find. Value of such pseudomorph rarity??? A MUST for the pseudomorph, quartz, agate or locality collector! Fascinating specimens. This was a small find, a few years ago, and we found a few last specimens in storage to offer.
