An impressive, rich and sculptural large neptunite plate from the famous Dallas Gem Mine. Lustrous, jet-black prisms, to 3.4 cm and doubly terminated, are richly and aesthetically strewn on the serpentine matrix and are starkly contrasted by the "snow fields" of white natrolite. Several sides and the back have been sawed to enhance the dramatic display quality by removing heavy matrix, so it displays well. An important, large, rich and uncommon specimen in this size and quality!
