Sharp hornblende crystals of this impressive size are rare from this well-known Bancroft area locale. A 9.3 cm, sharp, complete all-around, lustrous, doubly terminated crystal is dramatically perched atop more hornblende crystals. This 360-degree crystal is essentially pristine. Parts of the frontal, a side and back faces are contacted, but there is very little damage, per se. Classic and rare material in this size and quality from the George Loud Collection.
