Item Description
Sharp, juicy, translucent pretty peach parallel-growth heulandite crystals richly line a sculptural curved vug on this impressive large specimen from this well-known Idaho locale. The glassy fans reach about 2.5 cm and the white mordenite lining the basalt vug is a typical and fine contrasting accessory. The lustre on these striking fans is first class. These are considered to be some of the very finest heulandites recovered from anywhere in the world and this is a very fine large example. These came out in the early 2000s. Ex R.D.
