Large Heulandite & Apophyllite w/ Stilbite geode

Item Description

An impresssive and aesthetic large combination zeolite vug from recent finds at Jalgaon. The richly colored reddish-brown fans of lustrous heulandite blades and striking, gem-like, isolated large pyramidal apophyllite crystals, to 4.5 cm, dominate the interior of the expertly prepared and pristine curved vug. The vug is totally lined with an earlier generation of smaller, facet-like gem apophyllite and the two intergrown, light salmon-pink stilbite blades are a fine accent. Jalgaon continually surprises with the very high quality of Zeolite Group species it produces. A most sculptural and excellent large combination decorative specimen.
