A dramatic, large, heart-shaped, flattened hematite crystals dominates this striking specimen of splendent, metallic-gray, parallel-growth, hematite crystals from the famous Wessels Mine of South Africa. IT IS LARGE - 2 pounds weight. This makes it a MAJOR specimen for the species, and I nsuch condition should be considered not just valuable but important (the two are not always the same!). This showy, two-sided piece is nearly a floater, with only a couple of small attachment points on the sides. Overall, the specimen is in excellent condition. Valued at $2000-2500
