Large Halite

Item Description

A dramatic and unusual large two-sided halite specimen from this famous California locale. The front is covered with striking and beautiful, lustrous rich pastel-pink, hoppered/skeletal cubes, to 2.6 cm. The back is completely different, as it is covered with much smaller, very glassy and lustrous cubes to 1.1 cm. The cubes on both sides are attached to four thin septae crusts in the middle.
