Item Description
Stunning, RARE style large gypsum crystal with attractive attached matrix from limited finds in the mid-2000s at the well-known antimony-gold Qinglong Mine. A striking, very elongated textbook water-clear doubly terminated gypsum encloses a fantastic earlier iron oxide-tinted gypsum blade of similar form. Amazingly for such a soft mineral, the piece is pristine, even the terminations. Perhaps a unique large phantom gypsum from the locale.
