Large Gypsum floater (Wouter van Tichelen Coll.)

Item Description

This is by far the largest of these amazingly sculptural sand-included gypsum specimens from this obscure desert area of Algeria, that we received from a large trade with the Wouter van Tichelen Collection. This impressive and uncommon piece looks the tail section of an airplane! The serrated faces to the "tail" and a "wing" really add pizzazz to this piece. A bit of modest bruising certainly has very minimal impact to the overall very high sculptural quality. It is just big and impressive and bizarre...Value??
