Large Gypsum (famous 1960s finds)

Item Description

A classic large terminated gypsum crystal from Naica. The striking, water-clear, parallel-growth crystal is beautifully striated and the two ridges of smaller crystals on the sides add pizzazz. Complete all-around and in great shape for such a soft mineral with only one scratch on a side and a trivial bit of termination rubbing noted. The faded old "Cave of Swords" label dates to the famous 1960s finds. $35 was not cheap then.
