Item Description

A striking, large and sharp grossular garnet with a nifty side car from this noted locale. The textbook dodecahedrons have pretty dusty rose-pink color, high luster and are translucent. Complete all-around. An upper prism face is contacted, with no damage, per se. A side prism face is gently bruised. These are out of sight in the preferred display view. This is old-time, seldom available material from the 1950s finds by California dealer George Burnham. Classic and excellent Mexican grossular. 404 grams mass. From an East Coast collection. BETTER IN PERSON.
