An impressive and in fact, dramatic, large mint-green beryl var. aquamarine crystal. Rarely on the market, this old-time specimen from the heyday at Teofilo Otoni is highly lustrous and is mostly translucent. EXCEPT, the upper 2.0 cm of the termination is extremely glassy and gemmy. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine, with only trivial termination edge wear. This glassy, hexagonal giant weighs 954 grams or nearly 2 pounds!
