Large gemmy Spessartine Garnet (302 grams!)

Wow! A very dramatic and impressive, large for the 2003 find, gemmy crystallized spessartine garnet from this well-known locale. The sculptural, brilliant luster, cherry-red crystal has unbelievable dense etched stepped-growth faces on all sides. This outstanding large crystal has dramatic 360-degree viewability under bright light! Every turn and tilt highlights another densely stepped-growth area of the crystal. The crystal GLOWS, when backlit. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. A bit of periphery wear lower on one side and the out-of-sight attachment at the base are noted, but have but have very little impact to the exceptional high quality of this large crystal.
