Item Description
A dramatic, large, doubly terminated and twinned, amber calcite crystal with striking single and multiple, classic, gemmy, golden-amber terminations form a spectacular large specimen from the famous Elmwood Mine. The tips on the multiple end are essentially pristine, with only a gentle out-of-sight cleave to the back of one of the tips. The tip of the single termination is pristine. That's a contact, with no damage, per se, above the single termination. Two trivial spots of rubbing are noted on the front. The golden tips are really impressive in gemminess, color and form. Specks of black bitumen hydrocarbon are scattered about. Classic older material from the Consie Prince Collection. 1413 grams or 3.1 pounds mass. The former dealer had this priced at $600.
