large gemmy, DT, twinned Calcite

Wow, a gorgeous, gemmy, LARGE CABINET calcite from Elmwood! The dramatically stacked, doubly terminated crystals are twinned and the terminations have super golden-amber color and gemminess. Very top flight. Specimens of this quality are becoming notably scarce with the closing of the mine. This is an excellent, large crystal group, that displays well from both sides. The tips on the double terminations are pristine, with a minimal bit of nearby edge wear noted. The multi-terminated end has one gently cleaved tip with scattered trivial bruising. A ding at the top of one of the crystals is also noted. There is a major cleave at the base of this cluster, but it is actually minimally detracting. It displays great from either side. 5.3 pounds or 2.4 kilos. Valued $900-1100. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
