Item Description
A striking, gorgeous, gemmy large calcite from Elmwood! The terminations at both ends have the classic and desirable rich golden-amber color and gemminess. The two, intergrown sidecar crystals, to 8.2 cm, with flanges of bladed barite are a super accent. Specimens of this quality are becoming notably scarcer. This is an excellent, large, complete all-around crystal group is in great shape. The large single termination has only a very trivial bruised tip. Amazingly, the spectacular multiple terminations have only the tiniest bit of bruising to a few tips. Even the sidecar crystals are in great shape. The contact is the barite. This is a dramatic, large and excellent example of the famed species and locale. Valued $2000-2500. Ex Consie Prince Collection. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
