Item Description
A dramatic, large, doubly terminated and twinned, calcite crystal with an impressive, large, classic, golden-amber gem termination from the famous Elmwood Mine. The golden gem tip is cleaved. The lighter end has a gently cleaved tip and just a bit of bruising. The top sides are complete and pristine all-around and the 9.3 cm doubly terminated crystal attached to the side is a super accent. These certainly have minimal impact to the aesthetic quality of this sculptural calcite. One side has embedded rubyjack sphalerite and the attachment point, with barite, is at the base. Classic older material from the Consie Prince Collection. 1934 grams or 4.25 pounds mass. Priced by the previous dealer at $950.
