Large gemmy DT Aquamarine xl (NEW FIND)

This exceptional aquamarine is the finest large crystal we recently received from a small NEW FIND in the Erongos. The beautiful and sculptural 9.3 cm parallel-growth crystal is doubly terminated and pristine. The very glassy crystal has rich blue color, gemmy terminations and a typically translucent mid-section. Both terminations are remarkable. The broad primary termination has extremey glassiness and classic hexagonal form. The lower stepped-growth terminations are dramatically accented by the side car crystals and attached feldspar. The feldspar attached to the large prism sides add real character and constrast to this superb 360-degree aqua. DIRECT from the miners, as the iron oxides have not been cooked off of the piece.
