An IMPRESSIVE pair of large, clear, gemmy topaz crystals from the classic locality of Klein Spitzkopje. The very glassy crystals are a light pastel-green and the very moderate interior veils obscure the gem quality of the large crystal. The classic chisel termination has a serrated edge and the termination faces have interesting scalloped features. The prism faces are striated. The large crystal is complete all-around nearly pristine, with only a small ding at the base of the large sloped termination face. The sidecar crystal has a cleaved termination, which has only minimal impact to the overall imposing and excellent quality of this large piece. The broken base is actually TOTALLY healed! A significant large Klein Spitzkopje topaz. Quite aesthetic, and gemmier and better in person than the pics can portray. Hefty at 524 grams or 1.15 pounds. Valued at $1500-1750.
