An impressive, large and unusual galena cube from the famous Sweetwater Mine. This striking, splendent, metallic-gray is a fascinating compound crystal, composed of a myriad of intergrown cubes. That's why all the crystal faces are curved, convex or jutting. Complete all-around and in great shape. The frontal and top display views are pristine. The attachment is at the base and the lower portion of the back. A classic and imposing large galena cube from the Dr. Gary Hansen dealer stock and dates to the 1970s to early 80s. Heavy lead at 2099 grams or 4.6 pounds mass.
