A dramatic and impressive large combination plate from the famous Herja Mine. Classic for the locale intergrown shimmering rosettes of extremely flattened, curved, translucent, ivory-colored calcite rhombs very aesthetically course across the matrix plate of splendent, metallic galena crystals. The striking and sculptural large cluster is 10.5 cm long and the large galena on one end looks like a spinel-twin, adding pizzazz. Scattered clusters of lustrous, light brown, bladed siderite rosettes are a typical and very fine accessory. Pretty light pink calcite fluorescence. Specimens of this very high quality, richness and size are quite uncommon from the Herja Mine and are highly desirable.
