Item Description
Striking stepped-growth clusters of gem blue-gray Fluorite cubes with modified corners; scattered jet-black, twinned sphalerite crystals; contrasting clusters and isolated calcite scalenohedrons; and patches of water-clear quartz points form a sculptural large combination on the massive sulfide matrix plate. Small dogtooth calcites richly cover the back of the plate as a bonus. This impressive large combination is from Level 12 of the famous San Antonio Mine at Santa Eulalia. Modest purple fluorite and pink calcite fluorescence. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired from Mexico expert Peter Megaw at the Tucson Show in 2001. UNUSALY Large fluorite, sphalerite and calcite combinations of this quality are uncommon from here and this is very fine and aesthetic specimen.
