Item Description
Octahedral green fluorite specimens from this obscure prospect, near the much more famous and prolific Homestake-Jack Pot Mine, which produced similar fluorite specimens are RARE. This impressive, rich large plate is covered with frosted, translucent, nubby, mint-green octahedrons, to 3.3 cm, and nicely accented with patches of drusy quartz. The locality produced a small quantity of both green and purple octahedrons in the 1990s and this is an excellent and rich large example from the Gary Weaver Collection. Purple fluorescence. The piece displays well from either side. A must for the species or Arizona collector.
