Item Description
Beautiful blue-green, lustrous, transparent to translucent fluorite octahedrons with frosted faces are aesthetically intergrown on this impressive large mounded specimen from a recent 2015 find at this obscure skarn-type Pb-Zn mine, where mining started in 2008 (MINDAT). The striking large octo is 7.3 cm on edge. MINDAT does not list fluorite from this boron-rich deposit. A dramatic piece with only modest periphery wear, which is certainly only a minor detraction. A RARE and outstanding large fluorite. Bright purple fluorescence. Value? We feel $1500 is fair for rare style, quality and size.
