Item Description
Fluorite is VERY RARE from any of the numerous mines in the Bad Schlema area of the famous and historic Erzgebirge. Densely intergrown, colorless, gemmy cubes with cloudy white interiors and satin luster faces compose this very rich and sculptural large plate. The large cube on the upper left is 3.5 x 3.3 cm, the large cube on the right below the top is 3.5 cm on edge and the impressive large cube on the lower right is 4.0 cm on edge. Light blue LW UV fluorescence. Found in 1950 at Shaft 38, according to the label of a respected German dealer. Rare perhaps unique large and rich fluorite from Schlema.
