Large Fluorite & Quartz (classic locale)

An impressive and sculptural large fluorite and quartz combination from this famous Weardale Mine. Dramatically intergrown large elongated, translucent, lustrous, cross-hatched, variably-purple fluorite cubes are strikingly accented by a 2.5 cm thick quartz crystal vein on one side. The imposing large cube is 6.7 x 3.9 cm. A fine bonus on the back is the very stout 8.9 x 6.2 cm cube. Fluorites of this size and combination quality are RARE from here. Bright fluorescence, as you would expect! 2241 grams or 4.9 pounds mass. Classic and excellent large Frazer's Hush fluorite with quartz.
