Large Fluorite from classic Spanish locale

An impressive large specimen of intergrown, rich grape-purple fluorite cubes from Berbes. The lustrous, translucent cubes have frosted faces and nifty modified stepped-growth edges. Backlighting highlights the translucence and edge phantoms. The striking large compound cube is 10.2 cm long. Very minor periphery wear and one bruised corner are noted, but this remains a striking large fluorite with rich color from this famous locale. When backlit, it simply GLOWS. The crystal size and color combine to give it imporatance. It is huge at 5.1 pounds or 2.3 kilos mass.
