Item Description

Multi-hued green fluorite octahedrons cover this classic and impressive large plate from the aptly named Rock Candy Mine of British Columbia. The translucent octos have striking, dense satin luster stepped-growth faces and the dominating large crystal is 3.5 cm across. The tiny bit of purple fluorite along the edge is a nice accent. Purple fluorescence. Ex Ted Bartels Collection and acquired from dealer Hans van Binsbergen.
