Large Fluorite (fluorescent) on Quartz

Item Description

Heliotrope or pink-purple, beautiful, translucent fluorite octahedrons with frosted faces are richly scattered on the large triangular quartz crystal plate on this impressive combination specimen from the recent finds at De'an. The isolated octo at the top is 2.0 cm tall. This is an uncommon and excellent color of fluorite from this well-known locale. Specimens from here were once fairly common, but supplies have dried up. There is massive granular green fluorite on the bottom of the quartz plate. Purple fluorescence.
