Large Fluorite (fluorescent) on Quartz

Item Description

Beautiful, translucent, heliotrope or pink-purple fluorite octahedrons with frosted faces are dramatically clustered atop the large quartz crystal plate on this impressive combination specimen from the recent finds at De'an. The octos reach 1.8 cm on edge. This is an uncommon and excellent color of fluorite from this well-known locale. Specimens from here were once fairly common, but supplies have dried up. There is massive green fluorite on the bottom of the quartz plate. Purple fluorescence.
