Clusters of gemmy, glassy, pretty variable grape-purple fluorite cuboctahedrons, to 2.0 cm, are richly and attractively scattered on the large matrix plate. Rare flax-yellow bladed calcite botryoids surrounding the fluorites are a dramatic and colorful contrast. Scattered patches of sparkly tiny pyrite crystals add even more pizzazz to this very impressive and excellent large combination from an unknown mine in Dayu County. Purple fluorite is common from here, but calcite of this style are VERY RARE, making this an exceptional large combination example from recent finds. The interior is pristine and the bit of noted periphery wear is certainly acceptable in the context of this rare, striking and impressive large combination.
