Large Fluorite (fluorescent)

Item Description

An impressive, sculptural and very rich large two-sided mounded plate of densely intergrown, gem, rich golden-yellow, very glassy and lustrous fluorite cubes, to 1.6 cm, from the famous Moscona Mine. Contrasting clusters of tiny barite blades and a single cluster of barite on calcite rhombs are nice accessories on both sides. Nearly pristine, with only a bit of gentle bruising and the noted periphery wear, which is certainly acceptable. The yellow hue is richer, than you usually see from here. Striking zoned ghostly white fluorescence. Better in person, the extreme gemminess and glassines made photography difficult.
