Item Description
Three mesmerizing gemmy, glassy corners highlight this classic style and sculptural large fluorite cube from the famous Elmwood Mine. The bi-colored compound cube has a pretty purple outer zone with edge phantoms surrounding the white core, plus the striking colorless gemmy corners. The side prism faces have high lustre and dense stepped-growth with the top C-axis face having satin lustre. The 2.8 cm side car cube with dark purple edge phantoms and the bit of sphalerite at the base adds pizzazz. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, with only one trivial back corner wilber. This is a classic, highly desirable large fluorite cube of this style from this renowned locale. AND there are fluorescent yellow hydrocarbon flecks included in the edge phantoms and cube interior, as a bonus! Valued at $1000-1250.
