Item Description
This impressive, rich large fluorite plate is covered with frosted, translucent, nubby, mint-green octahedrons, to 3.0 cm on edge, and accented with patches of drusy quartz. Octahedral green fluorite specimens from this obscure prospect, near the much more famous and prolific Homestake-Jack Pot Mine, which produced similar fluorite specimens are RARE. The locality produced a small quantity of both green and purple octahedrons in the 1990s and this is an excellent and rich large example from the Gary Weaver Collection. Purple fluorescence. A must for the species or Arizona collector.
