Item Description

Impressive, sculptural and classic large combination from La Cabana, Berbes, Spain. A striking large 8.0 cm "ball" of oxide-tinted, opposing clusters of parallel-growth baryte blades dominates one side of the artistic piece. The ball is nearly pristine, with only a few gently bruised blades. Gemmy, grayish-purple fluorite cubes, to 1.4 cm, with satin luster faces and subtle edge phantoms richly and attractively cover the undulating matrix. The dense elongated cluster of intergrown cubes in parallel groups is remarkable. All of the multitude of fluorite cubes appear to be pristine, except for a few bruised crystals on the periphery.
