Large Fluorite (2 generations - rare 2016 find)

Beautiful, gemmy rich emerald-green fluorite octahedrons, to 2.6 cm, are dramatically draped with a secondary overgrowth of worm-like clusters of purplish-gray, frosted, stepped-growth cuboctahedrons on this impressive, rich and sculptural large specimen from a small 2016 find at a very obscure locality in Zhejiang Province, China. The octos remind me of outstanding emerald-green fluorites from Riemasvaak, South Africa. Rich purple fluorescence. Mass is 6.8 pounds or 3.1 kilos. Valued at $2500 for high quality, rarity and size and worth it.
