Item Description

Beautiful green color on the pristine intergrown gem fluorite crystals on this spectacular large plate with a hole from the well-known Xianghuapu Mine of China. The very glassy and lustrous, water-clear, mint-green cubes have cloudy, off-white cubic cores, adding a striking visual aspect. Most of the crystals are simple cubes, but a few have interesting dodecahedral edge modifications. The stunning, large, centrally placed cube below the hole is 4.2 cm on edge. Scattered tiny, gemmy, calcite rhombohedrons are a nifty accent. Purple LW UV fluorescence. Mass is 930 grams or 2.0 pounds.
