Large Fluorapophyllite & Stilbite stalactite

An outstanding and dramatic large combination stalactite from recent finds at Jalgaon. This impressive 360-degree piece is composed of gemmy and glassy, bi-colored tetragonal fluorapophylite crystals with pinacoidal termination and pearlescent tan stilbite blades. The single apophyllite sticking straight up at the top really sets the piece off. The largest apophyllite, near the top, is doubly terminated and is 7.5 cm long. The well-placed doubly terminated stilbite is 4.7 cm long. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. It's hard to see the one smaller broken apophyllite, lower in the piece, in the two striking primary display views. Jalgaon continually amazes with the superlative quality of zeolite specimens it produces. Valued at $1750-2000 and worth it.
