A spectacular large sculptural and colorful apophyllite and stilbite combination from recent finds at Ahmadnagar. Dramatic sprays and clusters of gemmy, very glassy, bi-colored, mint-green and colorless, terminated apophyllite crystals are richly scattered on the fantastic undulating basalt matrix covered with starkly contrasting tan pearlescent stilbite blades. The superlative stellate radial spray at one end is 6.0 cm. This impressive and artistic piece has been expertly prepared with the carved back and sawed base. The style and form of these apophyllite clusters is certainly one of the most desirable from any Maharashtra locale.
